Privacy Policy

SnapTara is a simple tool and it collects very little. This page explains, in plain language, what is stored, what is measured, and what is never done with your information.

What SnapTara stores on your device

The generator keeps your recent prompts, your roll count, and your Challenge progress in your own browser's local storage, on your device only. That information never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and disappears if you clear your browser storage. Copying a prompt uses your clipboard only when you press the copy button. Share images are generated in your browser and downloaded by you.

Accounts and personal information

There are no accounts, no sign ups, and no forms on SnapTara. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information, and we do not sell any data — there is effectively none to sell.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-8TK2YJZC5M) to understand overall usage: roughly how many people visit, which pages they read, and what country they are in. Analytics uses cookies and reports to us in aggregate. It does not tell us who you are. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the generator works, and the site respects Do Not Track signals.

Advertising

SnapTara does not currently display advertising. If advertising is added in future, ad partners may use cookies to measure and personalise ads, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

External links

Pages on this site link to Dark Haus Studio and to other photography resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a fresh date at the top. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page.
